hello again...

oh hey, my name is Chandler -- in case you forgot.

i took a nice long break. and guess what?

i don't really feel bad...

i enjoyed myself actually.

i will blog about that later. 

but here i am again. 

ready for my gratitude post?

here we go...

11. a warm and cozy bed to sleep in each night...that sometimes is too cozy and makes me miss class in the morning. i have nothing to do with it, it is all the bed's fault.

12. the feeling of getting a letter or something from Keat after two weeks of not hearing from him!

13. Murray, Ut. i loved growing up there and getting excited each time i get to go home to it. its such a cute city.

14. Doctors. i was feeling craptastic, and they fixed me. splendid.

15. aggie basketball! no explanation needed.

(sidenote: the fire alarm just went off in my building. i live in a building full of girls. it is 9 am on a monday morning. that was funny.)

16. Prayer. it changes lives.

17. creativity. even though i am not the most creative person, i love being inspired by others and seeing what amazing things they create.

18. christmas music. now that it is officially christmas time, it puts me in the best mood!

19. the temple. my house of peace. and it sure it breathtakingly beautiful.

20. examples. my life is filled with great examples to me. i am so lucky.

21. birthdays! i love being able to make a day special for someone.

22. grandparents. i have an unusual amount of grandparents. i am lucky to know all of them and even a set of great-grandparents. they have all lived some pretty great lives and its always fun spending time with them.

23. pictures. some say that i take way too many pictures. but capturing moments that you can keep forever seems like a pretty great idea to me. i love finding pictures that i have forgotten about and instantly going back to that moment that i may have never remembered.

24. babies. my best friend is having her baby soon, and there is nothing sweeter or more special to me than a new baby. i love love love them. 

25. my sister. i know i have already said family, but she is my best friend and is pretty great. i don't know what i would have done if i didn't have an older sister like Kacey. she put up with so much having me as a little sister, but she loved it. 

26. the scriptures. my answers to every question.

27. hunger games. i'm hooked. 

28. today is keat's 2 month mark. yessssss. he is such a great missionary. check out the blog!

there ya have it. i shall finish the last 3 when those days come. maybe. hopefully.

have an attitude of gratitude, people. it makes such a difference.

eight.nine.ten.

8. today, i am SO grateful to be an FCSE major and all my cute fcse friends. there is a group of us that are all taking the same classes together. i am the youngest out of all of us, but i love it. my cute cousin Ashley is an FCSE major, too and we had classes every single day together last semester. i am hoping to see her more often next semester!! --ash let me know your spring schedule :) I love getting to know all of these great women. we have extra fun because the majority of our classes are project based, so we get to work together a lot. i am super lucky to know all of these fun girls! it definitely makes school that much better!!

9. i am grateful for my job. i am a Resident Assistant for Utah State Housing. I am in charge of 46 girls this year. it is by far the most stressful thing i have ever done in my whole life so far. it is something new every single day and i never know what to expect. but, this year, i have some of the most amazing residents. these girls are the reason i stick around. i have the best staff members i could ask for and let's face it, i get my own room. no matter what happens, i am very grateful for this opportunity to get to know so many fab people. 

10. these girls complete me. they have all appeared on my blog multiple times, but i am more and more grateful for them each day. we each have such unique personalities, but i learn such a variety of things from each one of them!! i love you girls and am forever grateful to call you my best friends!

oooh we have so many adventures headed our way!

i cannot wait to see where all of our lives will be in just a couple short years.

thank you girls for being such a strong support system to me to always fall back on.

thank you for encouraging me and trusting me to be a better person.

i love each and every one of you SO stinking much.

can't wait til we are finally ROOOOOMIES for real!!!

4. i am grateful for the opportunity i have to get an education. there are so many people in the world who don't get to, and i am SO grateful to have to go through all the stresses of school in order to have a more successful life. i LOVE utah state and that i am an aggie!! best school ever.

5. i am grateful for my car. even though it gives me grief, i am so grateful that i am able to go everywhere, whenever. even though she is named "the beast" because of her immense roar, she definitely gets me from point A to point B. 

6. i am grateful for technology. i mean, what would we all do without the blogging world? it amazes me how rapidly the tech world is growing and how much our world truly relies on it. and let's face it, i would not be able to survive the next 23 months with a letter every other month...THANK YOU email!

7. i am SO grateful for this family:

they are my second family and i love being able to have the relationship we do with each other. it was great visiting with them this last weekend! they have always been so kind to me and so supportive and me and keat. i love having two little sisters in katie and anna! i am so lucky to have two fantastic families!!

since i am starting it late, you get a triple dose of gratefulness.

try not to get too excited.

1. my family. they are by far my biggest supporters and the ones i love the most. i am so grateful to always have them. my mom, dad, sis, and now bro-in-law are each great in their own ways. and i cannot forget about my sweet puppy, mojo. 

my relationship with each of them has developed and grown SO MUCH in the past year or so, and i wouldn't trade any of them for the world.

2. my membership of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. it is the only constant in my life and it amazes me how much i truly rely on it. it brings me so much happiness each day and i am grateful to know and understand the power of the gospel.

first things first.

HAPPY ONE MONTH Y'ALL!!!

if this last month is any indication of how the next 23 will be, i believe i am in for smooth sailing.

i miss my boy every single day, but hey, i am only that much closer to being with him again!

last weekend, my girls and i took a fun fun fun roadtrip to yellowstone and Cody, WY. (mary's hometown.)

it was so much fun being with them all and not having to think about school, work, boys, and all the other stressful things in our lives. 

Jo had never been to Old Faithful, so it was a definite stop on our way.

we had so much fun driving and singing.

it's what we do best.

i have the best friends on the planet. 

it is such an amazing blessing to be able to have such great girls to spend these great years of my life with.

we all know each other so well and we are so lucky to have 7 sisters and best friends to vent to, laugh with, cry with, pick on, and learn so much from. 

these girls have taught me so much and lift me up.

i am truly blessed to have them in my life.

and we are all pretty hilarious.

so that makes it fun.

on our adventure in Cody, we attended the famous Buffalo Bill Museum, toured the haunted cites like the Irma Hotel and Caroline Lockhart's house.
It was fun to see Mary have so much fun being at home.
her family was so sweet to us.
it was quite the roadtrip.
can't wait til next fall break...

that makes it sound like i haven't blogged in a year. 

but with the number of you reminding me that i haven't blogged in a week makes it seem way longer than it actually has been. 

but my apologies.

i really have tried my hardest to blog. 

well maybe not hardest, but it seems like every time i go to do it, i draw a blank.

i even find myself pulling up my bloggyboo and hoping somehow it magically had a new post about something riveting and attractive to the senses.

sounds like hardly nothing, but that is a huge feat for me.

no mental/emotional breakdowns yet.

my fab mother's birthday was this last wednesday.

what a wonderful woman she is.

i sure do love her a lot!!

i didn't get to celebrate with her, but i did send her a sweet card and note to her and she did receive a great letter from our fave missionary.

sheesh, her letter was longer than mine this week. lucky girl.

but i think the world of my dear momma.

she does everything for me. always has, always will.

she has sacrificed and worked so hard to give my sis and i the life we have. 

she has always been my number 1 fan and never missed any volleyball games. ever.

she def had the best bday, relaxing in the new hot tub. 

i am one jelly belly on that one!!

i just asked melanie what else i had to blog about and she said, "my face".

we had a great GNO last friday.

dinner at firehouse.

it was great...

i might even let the waitress spill a whole tray of beverages on me again and get another free meal...

then went and saw Dream House!

holy crap it was so good! i am so not into scary/thriller/suspense flicks, but this one had me glued.

i only screamed/shrieked in the theater like twice so thats pretty good for me.

let me add, daniel craig is quite the looker. i mean, for an older guy.

not much else has really happened.

my life is full of excitement, isn't it?

work is busy, school is great.

la la laaaa.

i do have some pretty snazzy fingernails at the moment. mary said they are gaga-ish. i didn't really like that comment...

but i decided to take an equally gaga photo to capture the essence of my nail art.

i am real pretty. i know.
