Hi Hello

Oh my word.
Why do I do this to myself?
So much has happened in such a short amount of time that this sweet little blog has fallen to the wayside.
I will just say that these past 5 months have been pure bliss.
They have been full of adjustment and change.
I finished another semester of school.
Moved home to Murray permanently (for a couple months).
Had the happiest and wealthiest of holidays.
Fell in love all over again.
Am currently student teaching.
GOT ENGAGED!!!
Leaving for Norway (second half of student teaching) in NINE days.
Trying really really hard to stay sane while planning a wedding, student teaching, and preparing to live in Norway for 2 months.
I'm absolutely thrilled to have this opportunity.
It's just a lot to take it all at once.
Who wants to leave a cute fiancé??
Not me!
But two months will fly.
And it's not like we haven't done it before...

I will do individual posts about the whole engagement story and little things here and there.

ALSO,
shout to the one and only Kenzi Staples for giving this blog of mine a cute new face!!
Check her out here!!

Check back soon for the whole engagement story!!!

xoxo

HE'S HOME.

That night feels like a blur. It was unreal. He was awkward, I was awkward. We were all just really really happy. The hug was wonderful, better than I could have imagined. So many moments that I will never forget...
I feel like I still have so many things going through my head.
Let's just say that things will happen day by day.
A lot of adjustment will be taking place - for everyone.
But at the end of the day, there are a whole lotta smiles goin on after two of the best years and best night of my life.
Thank you to my awesome possum of a sis for taking these photos!!!

5 days.

How is it possible that the last 716 days have been a breeze and just flown right by and now we are down to 5 days and I feel like time will not move?
It's killin me.
I am so ready to see that man.
SO READY.

If you are wondering, these are my emotions:

-Calm
-minor nervous tummy when I think too much about it
-Nervousness for how awkward it might be at the airport with everyone watching...
-Excited that I have pretty much the whole next week off of life. (Tender mercies. God is good to me)

ok, this is making me think too much about it.
nervous tummy...

kbye.

16th grade.

I am so excited to be a senior and put all of my hard work to the test this last year in Logan.
I feel so blessed to have had this opportunity and meet the people I have met.
Here's to a successful 4th year of college with only minor stress.

hi. me, again.

i suck. but, i will not apologize. Even though that would be correct manners... Who has those these days, amiright?
Summer summer summer is almost over.
I have approximately 22 days until I move to Logan for the last time. Ever. Tears have been shed in that fact's behalf. Not the moving back part... the "last time" part. Bittersweet it will be. I'd rather not talk about it actually... I get a nervous tummy.
I tend to get a nervous tummy a lot lately.  Probably has to do with fact that a certain missionary gets home NEXT month. 48 days. 7 weeks. I probably won't make it. At least as semi functional and sane human being.
It's just a weird feeling. Everyone I talk to always asks if I'm excited for Keaton to get home. What am I supposed to say to that? Obvs I'm excited. But there are a lot of other emotions that go along with it. Yuck, another nervous tummy. Moving on...
I need a vacation.
Too bad I work my life away these days. Ok, not "too bad". I love my job. It has stolen my summer so the negative feelings tend to surface when I think about it too much. Then I receive a paycheck and I'm all smiles.
If you follow my blog, it's safe enough to say you follow me on the gram and we probs stalk eachother on the book from time to time. So I feel no need to add any photos to this post.
Also, because I am on my phone, it never works the way I want it, so another strike against adding photos. Sorry Charlie.

That's my life. As mundane and redundant each day might seem, I'm still finding the good moments and collecting them for safe keeping. It's a good life I live, I tell ya. And I'm grateful for it.

Here's to staying up on the blog. Maybs.

Xoxo

lotsa moments.

so in about 2 days I will officially be a senior at Utah State University. what? yeah.
I will only have 11 credits in the fall then 12 credits of student teaching next spring.
for anyone's information, there is a chance that I will be completing my student teaching hours in Norway through the study abroad program at USU. it is still in the works and the application isn't due until the first week of October.
I know what you are thinking, because it is the first question I get every time I tell someone about this...
what about Keaton?
and my answer for that is:
We will see.
he is supportive, always has been, always will be.
so. we will see.
It is something I have always wanted to do, and for the time being, I feel very confident that it is something I should do and am actually just really excited about it!
anyway. that is that and now I will move on.

these last couple weeks have been some of the most fun-filled days I have had in a while.
between the end of year bash concert (He is We, Ready Set, and Parachute), bonfires, Double Dutch Night, boating, and finishing all my classes, I have enjoyed myself quite a lot.

here are some pics to prove to my social media following that I do things with my life.

Mel Duff and I had a piano class this semester because we wanted a "fun elective". uh, yeah right. I'm sure I have already complained about my pompous teacher who expected us to compose our own symphonies by the end of the semester. But somehow, with a lot of practicing and literal anxiety attacks, we made it through our final recital with flying colors and bid our instructor adieu. hallelujah; see ya never.
Mariah (between mel and I) has got to be one of the sweetest souls I have ever known. Im so sad that we really didn't start getting to know her until towards the end of the semester. She rocked it at the recital and Mel and I seriously felt like such proud mama hens.

I have started packing up my room. It is so hard to find motivation to do anything these last couple days. I am what you would say, "burnt out". summer is a necessity at this point in time. lucky me, it is right around the corner.

and now, I shall leave you with a few pictures that will undoubtedly put a smile on your face.

the talented Jacki Miller took these of Tatum girl for her 6 month old shoot. I could die, I love her so much!

happy monday, ya'll.

Mother's day is in less than two weeks. Happy Skype date to meeeeeee.

a throwback.

I was stalking my sister on the book a week or so ago and came across these pics.
they were from a little over two years ago when the four of us (me, kace, keat and jordan) went down to the george to visit my grandparents.
and also the weekend kace and jord got engaged! love.
but these photos just really made me laugh.
probably way more than they should, but you know me...
plus, i like this kid a lot so i am deciding to share them
it was freezing and keat loved that pink jacket way too much...

the night after kace and jordan got engaged, keat found me a real nice rock from the gift shop of some casino.

i miss my goober.
