Ode to a shewolf.

People always say that the friends you meet in college are the ones that will stay with you the rest of your life.
For the "Shewolves", this statement could not be any truer.
In Logan, at Utah State, there are houses off-campus that have nicknames i.e. The Dollhouse, The 7's, Apple Pie house, Beach house, Jazz Lounge and the Shewolf house. When we moved into that house at the beginning of our Junior year, we never knew just how much that house and these two years would mean to us. It was the best house, our own rooms, sharing a bathroom with only one other roommate, three levels, great kitchen and living room, two sets of washer and dryers and our own parking lot. You guys, this was seriously IDEAL living conditions for college students. Only girls were allowed to live in the house so you can imagine how nice it was…sorry boys, but you stink sometimes.
It was the best 1.5 years of my life being surrounded every single day with my best friends. These girls are my family and we helped each other through the ups and downs. These were the years that Keat was on his mission, so I needed my girls more than ever.

Call me crazy and hormonal, but I seriously cry tears whenever I think of the amount of love and admiration I have for each and every one of these girls.
I may be married to the love of my life, my sweet husband, but these girls are my soul mates.

When I moved out between semesters to go to Norway, it was one of the most emotional and heartbreaking things I have ever experienced. You'd think one of us had died or something.

I love my she wolves. I love our daily group texts. I love that we are sisters and forever will be. I love that we are all on our own paths and strewn across the country right now, but we never fail to check in with one another and still have a relationship like we are all still living under one roof.

These girls truly are my soul mates and i'm overflowing with gratitude for each and every one of them.

and here is our christmas card from last year, because SOULMATES.
