I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS! TODAY WAS FIRST DAY OF CHECK INS AND I APPARENTLY HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS GETTING MYSELF INTO. I SURVIVED MY 1O TO 4 SHIFT.

HALLELUJAH.

 I DID MEET MANY OF MY RESIDENTS, THOUGH, AND NOW I AM EVEN MORE EXCITED FOR THIS YEAR TO JUST BEGIN ALREADY!!

I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL MY GIRLS GET HERE IN A COUPLE DAYS. IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG SINCE I HAVE SEEN THEIR SHINING FACES.

BRING ON THE NEXT 4 DAYS OF CHECK INS. I FEEL LIKE A PRO NOW.

HE HAD THE INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE OF GOING THROUGH THE TEMPLE ON HIS 19^TH BIRTHDAY.

I WAS SO SAD THAT I COULDN’T BE THERE, BUT SO GRATEFUL THAT KACEY WAS ABLE TO ATTEND THE SESSION. I LOVE BOTH OF THEM SO MUCH AND COULD NOT BE MORE BLESSED TO HAVE MY TWO VERY BEST FRIENDS BE BEST FRIENDS THEMSELVES.

I GOT SOME PRETTY CUTE NEW FONTS AND SOMEHOW MANAGED TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO USED THEM ON THE BLOGGIE. HOLLA TO THAT.

OK, WELL HERE I AM IN LOGAN.
YEAR TWO. 
I LIKE SAYING PART TWO BECAUSE IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE HP.
I AM UP HERE A FEW WEEKS BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS FOR TRAINING.
TRAINING HAS BEEN...INTERESTING.
IT IS DEFINITELY A NEW EXPERIENCE FOR ME.
I HAVE ABSOLUTELY LOVED GETTING TO KNOW MY STAFF. EVERYONE IS QUITE FUN AND SO DIFFERENT FROM ONE ANOTHER. WE HAVE ALL HAD A GOOD TIME WITH OUR “BONDATORIES”.
I JUST CAN’T WAIT UNTIL RESIDENTS START GETTING HERE AND SCHOOL IS UNDERWAY. I THINK IT WILL BE A LOT EASIER TO ADJUST AND GET INTO A ROUTINE ONCE IT ALL BEGINS.

the inevitable.

yep. i chopped my hair again.

and i absolutely love it.

no matter how much i love love love longer hair,

i have come to the realization that i am a short hair kind of gal.

plus i thought i needed to change it up a bit.

because it's not like i have enough change headed my way, right?

47 days people.

it is nearing closer.

he is so ready.

and now he will be even more handsome dressed in his yellow ties and gray and black suits.

i know it's wrong, but i seriously swoon over him and his handsomeness in his missionary attire.

i made the journey to logan this morning.

and i am all settled in my cozy, stark white, cinder block wall dorm room.

that makes it sound way worse than it is.

thank heavens for DIY craft decor on pinterest.

my dear mother, sister, and sweet boyf helped my move in.

it went so much faster with all of their help.

i am so grateful for that!!

 so hear's to another fab year in cache valley.

i can't wait until my girls get here in about a week and a half!

that will make it even better!

weekend at the cabin.

even though it was a short little trip,

it was definitely one of the best weekends of the whole summer.

the weather was perfect

seriously the best way to end my summer!

last getaway.

We are headed to the cabin.
This marks the last vaca my man gets to come along with the fam for the next two years.
Last week was his final trip with his own family, to lava hot springs.
It definitely was an adventurous weekend, but oh so fun.
I failed at taking pictures...so not like me!
It was full of river running, hot pools, campfires and great company.


I'm ready for some relaxation before life in Logan starts again.

I promise I will be a better photographer this time around :)
